Parent Teacher Association

Our Parent Teacher Association (formerly Parent Support Group) is a vitally important team of parents and other supporters of the school. It has a range of functions, as follows:

  • raising funds through activities, to pay for ‘extras’ for the children
  • raising funds towards whole school improvements - such as investing in outdoor play equipment
  • organising whole-school fundraising events for charity (e.g. Children in Need)
  • organising social events (e.g. Y6 Leavers’ Disco, Summer and Christmas Fayres)
  • supporting school events by providing refreshments

To give you a flavour of what a difference the PTA/PSG have made to our school, in the first month of the 2018/2019, the PSG raised £132 via a cake sale, coordinated children's Christmas Card designs for sale in December and organised a bouncy castle fundraiser!

Already this year, the PTA/PSG has helped the school purchase 10 ipads and invested £2000 in revamping the KS1 area.

Over the past two years, the PSG has helped the school purchase the following equipment:

  • £2,700 spend on ipads (see above)
  • Approximately £2000 spent on revamping the KS1 area
  • Over £1000 spent on Maths resources.
  • Over £2000 spent on the Early Years outside area.
  • £500 spent on Forest School resources.
  • Over £1000 spent on picnic tables and a friendship bench. 


All parents/carers and members of staff are automatically members of the PTA. An organising committee helps plan and coordinate events and fundraising.

The current committee officers are:
