We believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Our school is proud to offer a rich and varied program of clubs, residential trips, and visiting speakers designed to enrich your child's education and foster new skills and interests.
Throughout the academic year, we offer a diverse range of after-school and lunchtime clubs catering to all interests, from sports and arts to creative pursuits.
Club Lists: A list of the term's clubs will be sent out to all parents at the start of each term.
Sign-Up: All club sign-ups are managed conveniently online, ensuring a fair and easy process for everyone.
Our residential camps are consistently a highlight of the school year for both children and staff, offering unparalleled opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and adventure.
Year 4 Camp (1 Night Away): A gentle introduction to staying away from home, focusing on teamwork and new experiences.
Year 6 Camp (4 Nights Away): An exciting, longer trip packed with activities that challenge and inspire.
Children on both trips get to experience a large variety of exciting activities, which often include outdoor pursuits such as climbing, raft building, zip lining, archery etc
We are delighted to partner with specialist third-party providers to offer high-quality music lessons right here at school.
Music for Schools: Children can learn traditional band instruments such as the trumpet, clarinet, or recorder.
Rocksteady: For children who prefer to rock, Rocksteady visits weekly, offering the chance to try out instruments like the electric guitar, drums, or keyboard as part of a band!
We believe in bringing the wider world into the school environment. We host a rich variety of visitors throughout the year to broaden children's perspectives and deepen their understanding across different subjects.
Our visitors frequently include:
Arts and Culture: Theatre groups, musicians, and professional storytellers.
History and Science: Historians and scientists offering engaging, hands-on workshops.
Community: Representatives of local charities and businesses.
Next Steps: Secondary colleagues to aid transition, and representatives of different faith groups to support our R.E. curriculum.
